5’x6’ Extrication blanket: constructed of fire resistant Nomex® and cut resistance Kevlar®, weighing nearly 8 lbs. The outer layers are made with 6 oz. Nomex® ; the inner layer is 20 oz. Kevlar® blend. The blanket is quilted every 6 inches using Kevlar® thread, to simplify use. Along the serged edged are six grommets for attachment-one is each corner and two evenly spaced along opposite sides. The blanket is washable and available in two colors, navy blue and royal blue.
Carry/Shipping Bag: Each blanket is shipped in a matching carrying/shipping bag. When placed in this bag, the blanket becomes a compact, easy to transport tool which fits conveniently into small compartments on emergency vehicles. Each bag has an interior scalable pouch containing a biohazard bag, toe to seal the bag, gloves, and exterior pouch
Laminated Shipping Label: Placed in the external pouch. This customized shipping label has name of the fire department on one side and the McJon address on the other making shipping hassle-free.
Biohazard Bag and Gloves: This bag is to be used if the blanket becomes contaminated, and are located inside the bag. These items will be replaced at no charge by McJon if owner ships blanket to McJon for cleaning.
Washing/Folding Instructions: Owners can opt to wash blanket according to directions provided or ship to McJon for cleaning (customer will incur additional charges for cleaning and shipping).
Optional Customized Embroidery: Fire Department name, Unit number, or special wording available upon request for additional fee.
